The young man is going to be a breath of fresh air in that stuffy St Petersburg City Council Chamber...
He is full of pep and vigire to do a good job for the people of St Petersburg and not promote the city as God's waiting room!
Give em Hell Leonard!

Ive known Leonard for a number of years. He has some really good ideas, and he's not afraid to implement those ideas. Leonard is a strong defender of our civil liberties. And I know that Leonard will support the small business the same as he would the large businesses.
If you want real representation, vote for Leonard!

Len is highly recommended by many Libertarians in Pinellas. He stands for civil liberties, transparency, careful review of costs, and paying attention to job-creating small business.
He's worked very hard and successfully in getting ballot fairness and reform back on the table, and encourages looking into voluntary or private efforts that can do a better job while cutting costs.

Hey Lenny
I just found out you were running for city council! Its great to see someone besides the usual talking head Komrades trying to make a real change in this city.If you work 1/10th as hard on the city council as you did when I worked with you when you were the chief engineer at the foundry, they will never be able to keep up!!! Let me know what I can do to help.

St Pete's needs some new voices with innovative ideas and the energy and passion to see them implemented. I've met Leonard and spoken to him about his campaign several times now while out and about in the city and I've been impressed with the creative ways he can envision the city developing - ways that are inclusive, that encourage citizen involvement - that take care of elders, and motivate the young - that address budget issues and see the council working FOR the people and he's not afraid to speak out when the officials lose sight of that.
St Pete's needs fresh talent and energy - Leonard has both and deserves the chance to put them into action. He's got my vote I hope he'll get yours.

Leonard's "ARC" proposal is EXCELLENT! We need to put an end, once and for all, to backroom dealing at OUR city hall. His enthusiastic support for the dual POWW petitions is also refreshing. He's earned the endorsement of the Pinellas County Suncoast Sierra Group. He could end up being the 'sleeper' in this years' city council races. In this era of moving towards many new 'green' technologies and jobs, Leonard seemed to be uniquely well-poised to meet the challenge.

I like the way you think about the city as a whole and not just some parts. Everyone wins when a city is healthy city. When just certain vendues are the focus there some win and others loss. Schmiege is a win - win kind of guy - Lisa Sloan

Very disappointed with the election results. The low turn out for an election as important as this one was is especially disappointing. This city needs new energy, new ideas and fresh perspective and we find ourselves with more of the same old same old. What a missed opportunity for St Petes that Leonard didn't get elected. Leonard I hope you'll stay involved and out and about and I thank you for getting in the race and wanting to change things from the inside. The council will need to be watched even more closely now to ensure they work FOR US!
